Privacy policy

When you place an order we collect your name and e-mail address, your project or artist name, the notes you write, any reference link you add, the audio files you upload, and the details of what you ordered - service, songs, tracks, delivery window, amounts, and payment status.

That is everything. There is no account to create, no profile, and no tracking of what you look at.

Your details are used to price and prepare your order, to keep you updated about it, to deliver the work you paid for, and to keep the order records a studio is required to keep. Your e-mail address is also how we reply when you send notes or questions.

Audio files you upload are stored privately - there is no public link to them. They are reachable only through the private delivery link created for your order, which is generated for you and sent to the studio so the work can be done. Keep that link to yourself: anyone who has it can open your files.

Card payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by the studio - only the fact of payment, the amount and the payment reference are kept with your order.

A small number of service providers handle your information so an order can happen: Stripe for payments, the platform that hosts this order form and stores the order records and files, and Wix for the studio’s customer records, where your name and e-mail are saved so the studio can follow up about future work.

Your information is never sold, rented or shared for advertising. It is only passed on beyond that list where the law requires it.

You receive an order confirmation, any messages about your order or files, and delivery notices. These are part of the service you ordered. Replying to any of them reaches studio@upperlight.com directly.

So you never lose your selections, the order form saves your answers and progress in your own browser. That draft stays on your device, is used only to restore the form, and is cleared once your payment is confirmed or when you clear your browser data.

Order records and files are kept for as long as they are needed to deliver the work and to meet tax and bookkeeping obligations, then removed. You can ask at any time for a copy of the information held about you, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted where nothing requires it to be kept - write to studio@upperlight.com and it will be handled.
